The Ultimate Ultimate Kan Du Project

The fourth wall here is clearly broken. FIlmmaker (Perry Grebin) and Doc subject (Dave Roberts) captured by, er, well, the snapshot of the other subject (Gil Ripley) on this rollercoaster of a documentary. I, happily, am not caught in the flack. This is on the way to the Los Angeles audtions. Which, as we predicted, were filled with actor wannnbes. Must have been a half dozen contestants that would not sign Documentary Release Forms for us because they were under contract or with an agent or manager or just LA-holes....

Like many reality shows that are mere ideas or that are simply going to pilot, they never name the show.
Ideas are far too portable, and networks, producers, writers steal ideas all the time.
In fact, these ideas are so portable that they often just give them the name of Project XYZ --
or some such.
To stave off the rip-off.
Take WIFE SWAP and TRADING SPOUSES
OR
THE NEXT GREAT CHAMP versus THE CONTENDER.
These shows cannibalized the other....
So... the show now that Gil and Dave are writing/producing
is secretively titled, so they have decided on calling it, innocuoulsy, "The Ultimate Ultimate Challenge"
They tout it as Survivor meets Fear Factor meets the Eco Challenge.
(I can say that because, hey, that's what on their website).
They are holding auditions in:
New York
LA
Philly
Cleveland
San Francisco
Seattle
We'll try and film as many as we can but they have them somewhat spread out.
